Arthur Damm
Full-Stack Software Engineer excited to reduce the
time-and-space complexity of business problems.
I’m a software engineer with lifelong passion for programming which started when I was a child learning how to implement flickerless animation in QBasic and progressed to learning OOP and team skills by working on multi-user internet games in my teens called LPC MUDs.
In college I decided to study mathematics because it was the foundation of all engineering sciences and felt this would have me apprehend structured systems and algorithms in a uniquely technical manner. I joined Holberton School to sharpen my technical and soft skills in preparation for the demanding work-flow of an industry position.
An adaptive virtual flashcard tutor written in JQuery, HTML5 & CSS3.
My capstone project at the end of Foundations year at Holberton School and the product of my experience as a private tutor. Utilizes spaced-repetition to train the user to memorize whatever information they need, from co-workers names to CSS tricks. Allows creation of custom decks stored in Google Firebase.
Internet Sharing Android Application
As a technical intern at Open Garden Inc, I developed the Java-Android layer for the Open Garden Mesh app's C networking core. I implemented an animated force-graph layout with a sparkline and bytecounter to bring the networking service to life and engage app users.
